Sound studio in Berlin

For my recordings I use well trimmed components to get the best sound quality.

Microphones

Neumann TLM 127
I replaced my TLM103 with a TLM 127 which sounds more balanced in deep regions with my voice.

Neumann TLM 193
I fell in love with it years ago when working in radio station like SFB. The TLM 193 has a wonderful linear spectrum.

Neumann KM 184
The KM184 is my favourite microphone for subtle projects, since it has an enormous quick and precise reaction and it displays the whole spectrum of my voice. Therefore I use it for audiobooks and purposes where a voice should sound pure and cristal clear.

Sennheiser 421

The old cucumber of Sennheiser's is still the best choice for reporters, since it wont't ever let you down. Actuaslly, I haven't used it in years ;-)

Shure SM 58
Yet another classic: you'll find this on every stage. A collegue of mine actually uses it as studio-mike. Well, ... anyway, the right one for singers!
